Primitive Folk Art Snowman w crows make do
his make do is a treasure. The base is an old factory spool that looks like a giant thread spool. The base is 5" in diameter and has rusted metal on the old wood. The piece measures 9" wide and 17" tall. The snowman is made of cotton flannel. His mouth and eyes are hand embroidered. The nose is made of orange fabric, wire, and sewn to his face. The snowman's body is stained with my coffee/vanilla mixture and wired and glued to the spool. His arms are sewn in position over a selection of primitive pine and pip berries and 2 handmade (by me) muslin crows that were painted, sanded and have bead eyes. There's a wool scarf tied around his neck. The bottom of the spool is signed "designed and made with love, Lucy".This can be yours for $42.

Primitive Folk Art Black Santy
This is the perfect size Santa for that smaller space. He measures 20" tall. He's made of muslin and stuffed with polyester fiberfill. His nose is needle sculpted, he was stained, painted black and sanded. His hair and beard are sewn to his face and styled with a felting needle. (no glue) He wears charcoal gray, red and white plaid wool pants. His wool coat and hat have cotton batting trim and all are coffee stained. There are rusted bells sewn to the front of his coat. Primitive Folk Art Santa delivering Crows
This piece measures 17 1/2" tall, 11" wide and 8 1/2" from front to back. The Santa is muslin, with a needle sculpted nose. The "coat" with hood are red cotton flannel with white trim and he has dark green mittens. At this point, he was coffee stained and dried. After drying, I stitched on his button eyes and wired him to his base, a vintage spool bobbin with a metal rim and 5" diameter base. He carries primitive evergreens with dark red pip berries. He also carries to crows, handmade of muslin, stuffed, painted, sanded, stained with stitched on bead eyes. The total cost of this piece is $42.00 in 48 US. Outside the US, contact me. Primitive Folk Art snowman with frosty arms
16 1/2" tall with a 6" diameter body and 12" armspan, This is a wonderful snowman. He's made of muslin and stuffed with polyester fiberfill and folded fabric in the bottom to give him weight and a nice flat bottom. He's been coffee stained and has embroidered eyes and mouth and a handmade clay carrot nose. There are buttons stitched to the front of his body. His arms are wired faux twigs covered with "snow". 36 inch Primitive Folk Art Sebastian Snowman
36" Sebastian Snowman is made of muslin and he's is a rather "tubby" snowman. He has hand embroidered eye and mouth dots, a handmade cloth carrot nose stitched to his face, and painted "boots" with rusty safety pin buckles. His "mittens" are gray wool. He wears black wide wale corduroy pants. His coat is red, navy, and dark green brushed twill with 4 navy blue buttons and cuffs that match the pants.
