Sandy's Handcrafted Soaps and Scenties
Welcome to Sandy's Soap Scentials and Scenties!
Our soaps are made from scratch using the old-fashioned cold process method of combining various oils, butters, and lye in just the right amounts to create a luxurious soap that we are proud to offer to you. We make all our soap in very small batches so we have precise quality control over the entire process. After curing for 4 - 6 weeks, we hand-cut and individually package each soap. You know you are getting a soap that is finely crafted and one-of-a-kind!
Benefits of Using Handmade Soaps
One of the major benefits of handmade soaps is that during the chemical process of soapmaking, known as saponification, glycerin is created and left behind in the finished soap. Most commercial soap manufacturers actually extract the glycerine so that they can sell it as a seperate by-product. Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it attracts moisture to the skin.
With handmade soaps you end up with a soap that doesn't leave your skin feeling all dry after using it. It can also help with sensitive skin, where commercial soaps tend to create some allergic reactions. Handmade soaps can be created for sensitive skin types because you have control of what goes into the soap, you can ensure that you're only using ingredients that your skin is happy with. People with skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis are known to find immediate relief when they switch to a homemade soap. This is because homemade soaps are extremely mild.
And of course with handmade soaps, you always have that special one-of-a-kind gift to give that you know is a great gift but also is a luxurious treat for the skin!

Lavender essential oil is an exceptional oil used for dry, normal or oily skin types and enjoyed by both men and women.
